Indias top weapon

1)      AGNI-V- Inter Continental Ballistic Missile(ICBM)


Range:- more than 5000km

Fuled:- Solid fuled

Launched:- Canister Tata truck within 5 minute.


It can carry a nuclear war head of 1.5 tone.

2) Light Combat Aircraft-TEJAS

  1.     Its developed by Aeronautical  Development Agency
  2.      It’s a 4+ generation fighter plane.
  3.     Multi – role  lightweight jet fighter
  4.     It’s a tailless, compound delta wing design powered by a single engine.
  5.     It can replace MIG-21 fighter
 


3) INS ARIHANT- Nuclear Powered Ballistic Missile Submarine


  1. The Arihant is a class of nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine
  2.   It’s a first launched in 2009 and began sea trail in December 2014.
  3.   It can carry twelve smaller K-15 missile or K-4 missile.
  4. K-4 is a longer range missile about 3500km but its undergoing tria
  5. Its fitted with USHUS sonar developed by DRDO lab

4) RUSTOM-II-Unmanned Aerial Vehical


Rustom is Medium Altitude Long Endurance unmanned combat air vehicle  (vehicle) being developed by Aeronautics Development Establishment in Bangalore for the service of the Indian Armed Forces.

  2. It also equipped with Digital Flight Control and navigation System ,Automatic take off and landing, Digital communication technology



5) ARJUN –Main Battle Tank


The MBT Arjun is a third generation main battle tank developed by Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), a DRDO lab in Chennai, for the Indian Army.

6) BRAHMOS- Super Sonic Cruise Missile

The BrahMos has been developed by the DRDO and the Federal State unitary Enterprise of Russia under BraMos Aerospace. The missile is named after two rivers, the Bramaputra and the Moskva.

  2. Its speed is 2.8 mach to 3.0
  3. It’s land –launched and ship-launched version are in service and air, submarine-launched version currently in the tesing.
  4. An Air -launched variant of BrahMos (Fitted with Su-30 MKI)
  5. India is only that country which have cruise missile in navy,army and airforce
  6. Missile has fight range 290km
  7. It can carry Warhead weighting 200 to 300 kg





7) NIRBHAY-Medium Range Subsonic Cruise Missile


Nirbhay is a long range, subsonic cruise missile developed by the DRDO.Nirbhay is an all weather low cost long range cruise missile with stealth and high accuracy.

  1. Range of approximately 1000km
  2. Its Speed of Mach 0.8
  3. Nirbhay subsonic cruise missile has a length of 6 meter and a diameter of 0.5meter
  4. Launch weight is approximately 1500kg.
  5. It can carry warhead ranging between 300kg to 400kg
  6. It can carry 24 types of warhead.
  7. It has a highly inertial navigation system
  8. It can be launched from multiple platforms including aircraft, lad based vehicles / launchers , ship and submarines.
